dc.descriptionSummary. In order to train highly qualified, competitive, integrated into the European and world scientific and educational space health professionals who are able to generate new ideas, solve complex problems and conduct original independent research in nursing, able to transfer modern knowledge, to implement scientific and pedagogical activity at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has developed and approved an educational and scientific program for the training of PhD students in the field of knowledge 22 Health Care, specialty 223 "Nursing". The aim of the study – to analyze the educational programs of higher education institutions of USA and Canada, where educational and scientific programs in the specialty "Nursing" are implemented and to identify the best scientific practices. Materials and Methods. While the development of the educational and scientific program of training of the PhD students in the field of knowledge 22 Health Care, specialty 223 "Nursing" the experience of implementation of such programs in higher educational institutions of the USA and Canada was analyzed. As a result of cooperation with foreign universities that are partners of our university, internships and online courses on the peculiarities of conducting research by nurses were performed, with the main attention paid to quality research methods. During the formation of the components of the curriculum, a number of new subjects specific to the training of PhD students in nursing were introduced. Conclusions. Undoubtedly, education is a way for nurses to improve their skills. At the same time, the national shortage of teachers of nursing, with their artificial replacement by doctors or teachers, is reaching critical levels, which has a significant impact on educational programs and the ability to educate future generations of nursing students. In Ukraine, the critically low level (or complete absence) of professional instructors-nurses with a scientific degree, and that lead to the need to support and promote the existence of educational and scientific program of training of PhD students in the field of knowledge 22 Health Care, specialty 223 "Nursing", which combines best scientific practices.en-US

З метою підготовки висококваліфікованих, конкурентоспроможних, інтегрованих у європейський та світовий науково-освітній простір фахівців у галузі охорони здоров’я, здатних генерувати нові ідеї, розв’язувати комплексні проблеми та проводити оригінальні самостійні наукові дослідження в медсестринстві, спроможні забезпечувати трансфер сучасного знання, здійснювати науково-педагогічну діяльність у Тернопільському національному медичному університеті імені І. Я. Горбачевського МОЗ України, розроблено і затверджено освітньо-наукову програму підготовки доктора філософії в галузі знань 22 «Охорона здоров’я» за спеціальністю 223 «Медсестринство». Мета дослідження – проаналізувати освітні програми закладів вищої освіти Америки та Канади, де реалізуються освітньо-наукові програми за спеціальністю «Медсестринство» та виокремити кращі наукові практики. Матеріали і методи. Проаналізовано освітньо-наукові програми за спеціальністю «Медсестринство» в The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, Emory University's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Pace University College of Health Professions, Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science University of San Diego, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Результати. При розробці освітньо-наукової програми підготовки доктора філософії в галузі знань  22 «Охорона здоров’я» за спеціальністю 223 «Медсестринство» вивчено досвід запровадження програм підготовки аспірантів-медсестер у закладах вищої освіти США та Канади. В рамках співпраці із закордонними університетами-партнерами проведено стажування та онлайн-курси з вивчення особливостей проведення наукових досліджень медсестрами, при цьому основну увагу приділено якісним методам дослідження. При формуванні складових програми навчання внесено ряд нових предметів, специфічних для підготовки медсестер-аспірантів. Висновки. Безсумнівно, освіта – це шлях підвищення медичною сестрою своєї кваліфікації. Разом з тим національний дефіцит викладачів медсестринських дисциплін, де відбувається штучна їх заміна викладачами-лікарями чи педагогами, досягає критичних значень, що має значний вплив на освітні програми та на здатність виховувати майбутні покоління студентів – медсестер. В Україні критичний рівень (або повна відсутність) фахових викладачів-медсестер з науковим ступенем, що створює необхідність підтримки і сприяння для існування освітньо-наукової програми «Медсестринство» підготовки доктора філософії в галузі знань 22 «Охорона здоров’я» за спеціальністю 223 «Медсестринство», яка поєднує в собі кращі наукові практики.uk-UA
