IMPROVEMENT OF EARLY LABORATORY DIAGNOSTICS OF LEPTOSPIROSIS IN THE CONDITIONS OF MILITARY STATE

dc.descriptionSUMMARY. The effectiveness of the “dark field” microscopy method of blood and urine of patients with suspected leptospirosis was analysed and the clinical and laboratory changes of patients with a confirmed diagnosis of leptospirosis using this method were characterized. In the early period of the disease, spiral-shaped bacteria were detected in 10.7 % of blood samples and slightly less – 1.6 % in urine, which, in combination with clinical and anamnestic data, increases the probability of establishing a diagnosis. In the majority of patients, a jaundice-free form of the disease was observed, with a predominance in the first week of the disease in 40.9 % of patients with respiratory symptoms, with the subsequent detection of kidney damage with pain in the lower back in 50 %, and changes in urine tests in the form of proteinuria and erythrocyturia and the absence of leukocyturia, which can to be one of the differential diagnostic signs in comparison with inflammatory diseases of the kidneys.en-US
dc.descriptionПроаналізовано ефективність методу мікроскопії у «темному полі» крові та сечі хворих з підозрою на лептоспіроз та охарактеризовано клініко-лабораторні зміни пацієнтів з підтвердженим діагнозом лепто­спірозу за допомогою цього методу. У ранньому періоді захворювання спіралеподібні бактерії виявлено у 10,7 % проб крові та дещо менше – 1,6 %, – в сечі, що у поєднанні з клініко-анамнестичними даними підвищує вірогідність встановлення діагнозу. У більшості хворих спостерігали безжовтяничну форму захворювання з переважанням у перший тиждень захворювання у 40,9 % хворих респіраторних симптомів із подальшим виявленням ураження нирок із болем у попереку у 50 %, та змінами у вигляді протеїнурії та еритроцитурії і відсутністю лейкоцитурії, що може бути однією з диференційно-діагностичних ознак порівняно із запальними захворюваннями нирок.uk-UA
