| dc.description | The problem of zoonosis of monkeypox in humans is considered. Historical data on the disease, the discovery of the pathogen are mentioned, the current epidemiological situation is described. The etiology of the disease, possible sources of the pathogen, ways of its transmission, and groups of people at high risk of disease are highlighted. Clinical manifestations of monkeypox in humans, differential diagnosis, in particular with smallpox, chickenpox and vesicular rickettsiosis are described. Criteria for determining cases and diagnosing monkeypox in humans according to CDC and WHO, modern methods of treatment and prevention of the disease, including specific ones, are presented. It is concluded the possibility of further epidemic complications of monkeypox in endemic and non-endemic regions. | en-US |
| dc.description | Розглянуто проблему зоонозної віспи мавп у людей. Згадано історичні дані про недугу, відкриття збудника, змальовано теперішню епідемічну ситуацію. Висвітлено етіологію хвороби, можливі джерела збудника, шляхи його передачі, групи людей, які мають високий ризик захворіти. Описано клінічні прояви віспи мавп у людей, диференційну діагностику, зокрема з натуральною віспою, вітрянкою та везикульозним рикетсіозом. Наведено критерії визначення випадків і діагностики віспи мавп у людей за СDС і ВООЗ, сучасні методи лікування і профілактики недуги, у тому числі й специфічні. Зроблено висновок про можливість подальших епідемічних ускладнень віспи мавп в ендемічних і неендемічних регіонах. | uk-UA |
