| dc.description | Abstract. In the article, the authors share their experience and achievements in teaching academic integrity and bioethics in medical and scientific activities at the Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, which integrates modern requirements for the quality of medical education regarding the acquisition of competencies in compliance with moral and ethical standards, professional and academic integrity, responsibility for the quality of the acquired special professional knowledge and the reliability of the obtained results of scientific research in the field of healthcare. Optimization of the educational process by implementing new methods of mastering the material and controlling knowledge involves the use of modern teaching methods, such as interactive involvement in discussions with the definition of positions and their defense by the parties in debates, the open microphone method, the use of Web search and artificial intelligence technologies, case methods based on the experience of American and European clinicians and scientists and offering examples of their solutions, which highlight ethical dilemmas in ways to overcome problematic circumstances while adhering to the norms of bioethics and academic integrity. To help students master professional and ethical standards in science and education in the problematic field of disciplines, modern teaching methods are used to study the permissibility and limitations of the influence of modern medical science on issues related to the beginning and end of human life, respect for a healthy lifestyle, bioethical problems of socially dangerous infections, moral and ethical principles of care for chronically ill people and people with disabilities, ethical problems of medical use of psychotropic drugs, bioethical aspects of combating drug addiction, alcoholism and smoking, ethical principles of providing medical care to cancer patients, bioethical problems of pain, suffering, rehabilitation, the range of threats and risks in the field of modern biomedical sciences, the dilemma of dual use of scientific achievements, the responsibility of scientists in the biomedical field, as well as the teaching of the principles of academic integrity in education and science in medicine. | en-US |

У статті автори діляться досвідом та здобутками у викладанні академічної доброчесності, біоетики у медико-науковій діяльності в Тернопільському національному медичному університеті імені Івана Горбачевського, де інтегровано сучасні вимоги якості медичної освіти щодо опанування компетентностей із дотримання морально-етичних стандартів, професійної та академічної доброчесності, відповідальність за якість отриманих спеціальних професійних знань та достовірність отриманих результатів наукових досліджень у сфері охорони здоров’я. Оптимізація навчального процесу шляхом упровадження нових методів оволодіння матеріалом та контролю знань передбачає застосування сучасних методик викладання, таких як інтерактивне залучення до дискусій із визначенням позицій та їх відстоювання сторонами у дебатах, метод відкритого мікрофону, використання технологій Web-пошуку та штучного інтелекту, кейс-методів, що ґрунтуються на досвіді американських, європейських фахівців-клініцистів і науковців та пропонують приклади їх розв’язання, які висвітлюють етичні дилеми у шляхах виходу із проблемних обставин із дотриманням норм біоетики та академічної доброчесності. Для опанування здобувачами освіти професійних та етичних стандартів у науці та освіті в проблемному полі дисциплін використовуються сучасні методи викладання для опрацювання дозволеності та обмеженості можливостей впливу сучасної медичної науки на питання, пов’язані з початком життя людини та його завершенням, поваги до здорового способу життя, біоетичні проблеми соціально небезпечних інфекцій, морально-етичні принципи догляду за хронічно хворими та особами з інвалідністю, етичні проблеми медичного застосування психотропних засобів, біоетичні аспекти боротьби з наркозалежністю, алкоголізмом і тютюнопалінням, етичні засади надання медичної допомоги онкохворим, біоетичні проблеми болю, страждання, реабілітації, діапазон загроз і ризиків у сфері сучасних медико-біологічних наук, дилема подвійного використання наукових досягнень, відповідальність вчених медико-біологічної галузі, а також вивчення принципів академічної доброчесності в освіті та науці в медицині. | uk-UA |
