| dc.description | Abstract. The article substantiates the relevance and necessity of studying the elective course “Sports Pharmacology” by higher education students majoring in “Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy”. It analyzes the key competencies developed through this course and its significance for ensuring safe and effective rehabilitation and sports training. The main challenges associated with teaching sports pharmacology to future physical therapists are discussed. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature and practical experience, the article presents a detailed overview of the features of teaching the “Sports Pharmacology” course at the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology of I. Ya. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University Ministry of Health of Ukraine (TNMU). The structure of the course is outlined, and the importance of the selected topics for the practical activities of physical therapists is justified. Special attention is given to the description and analysis of innovative teaching methods used by the department, including practice-oriented approaches, interactive technologies, and methods aimed at developing students’ clinical thinking and critical information analysis skills. The article concludes that the implementation of modern educational approaches and the adaptation of course content to the needs of future physical therapists, as practiced at TNMU, contribute to improving the quality of their professional training and preparing them for effective work in sports medicine and rehabilitation. | en-US |

У статті обґрунтовано актуальність та доцільність вивчення вибіркової дисципліни «Спортивна фармакологія» здобувачами вищої освіти за спеціальністю «Фізична терапія, ерготерапія». Проаналізовано ключові компетенції, які формує ця дисципліна, і її значення для забезпечення безпечної та ефективної реабілітації і спортивної підготовки. Висвітлено основні проблемні питання, що виникають при викладанні спортивної фармакології майбутнім фізичним терапевтам. На основі аналізу науково-методичної літератури та практичного досвіду детально представлено особливості викладання дисципліни «Спортивна фармакологія» на кафедрі фармакології з клінічною фармакологією Тернопільського національного медичного університету імені І. Я. Горбачевського Міністерства охорони здоров’я України (ТНМУ). Розкрито структуру навчальної дисципліни, обґрунтовано важливість обраних тем для практичної діяльності фізичного терапевта. Особливу увагу приділено опису та аналізу інноваційних методів навчання, що застосовують на кафедрі, зокрема практикоорієнтованих підходів, інтерактивних технологій та методів, спрямованих на формування клінічного мислення й навичок критичного аналізу інформації в студентів. Зроблено висновок, що впровадження сучасних освітніх підходів та адаптація змісту дисципліни до потреб майбутніх фізичних терапевтів, як це реалізовано в ТНМУ, сприяє підвищенню якості їхньої професійної підготовки та формуванню готовності до ефективної роботи в галузі спортивної медицини та реабілітації. | uk-UA |
