dc.descriptionAbstract. The article highlights the importance of developing terminological competence in future paramedics during Latin language classes. The goals and objectives of the academic course “Latin Language and Medical Terminology” are discussed in the context of the professional training of paramedic students, enabling them to master medical terminology through studying the structure of terms. The article addresses the word-formation methods for creating anatomical and clinical terms, analyses the significance of word-formation elements of Greek and Latin origin in the professional vocabulary of Ukrainian, Latin, and English languages. It demonstrates how the morphological analysis of terminological units helps students better understand the meaning of terms and learn them faster. The study establishes that learning the academic course “Latin Language and Medical Terminology” is an integral part of forming the terminological competence of specialists with the qualification “Paramedic”.en-US
dc.descriptionАнотація. У статті вказано на важливість формування термінологічної компетентності майбутніх парамедиків назаняттях латинської мови. Розглянуто мету й завдання навчальної дисципліни «Латинська мова та медична термінологія» в процесі професійної підготовки студентів-парамедиків оволодіти медичною термінологією на основі вивченняструктури термінів. Висвітлено словотвірні шляхи утворення анатомічних і клінічних термінів, проаналізовано значення словотвірних елементів греко-латинського походження у фаховій лексиці української, латинської та англійськоїмов. Продемонстровано, як морфемний розбір термінологічних одиниць допомагає студентам краще зрозуміти значення термінів і швидше їх засвоїти. Установлено, що вивчення здобувачами вищої освіти навчальної дисципліни«Латинська мова та медична термінологія» є невід’ємним складником формування термінологічної компетентностіфахівця кваліфікації «Парамедик».uk-UA
