| dc.description | Abstract. The article considers the possibilities and prospects of using interdisciplinary connections when studying the academic disciplines “Latin Language” and “Ukrainian Language for Professional Purposes”. The important role of the interdisciplinary approach as one of the foundations of a comprehensive educational paradigm is noted. Attention is focused on the need to form and develop professional language competence as the basis for holistic, fundamental training of specialists in any field, including medical. The level of proficiency in a professional language determines the effectiveness of mastering specialized disciplines, the formation of the necessary scientific worldview, the ability to successful professional communication, the prospects for professional growth, and therefore, competitiveness. In this regard, the issue of improving methods and forms of language training is relevant. It is noted that the definition, coordination and practical consolidation of associative language connections contribute to the awareness of the integrity and internal logic of the professional language system, understanding the interconnectedness of its elements, creates conditions for more active memorization and further operation of the learned material. At the same time, the need to apply the already acquired general language knowledge and skills in working with the new language layer of professional vocabulary is emphasized. Based on the results of observations and conversations with students, difficulties and problems in the study of Latin and Ukrainian languages are analyzed, their causes are determined. A characteristic of the interdisciplinary connections of Latin and Ukrainian is given, their unity as components of professional language is emphasized. As an example of the use of interdisciplinary connections, the study of the topic “Uncoordinated attribute” (Latin) and “Declension of nouns of the masculine gender” (Ukrainian) is considered, and the systematization of terminological groups according to this morphological feature is proposed. Promising ways of using interdisciplinary connections between Latin and Ukrainian languages are outlined. | en-US |

У статті розглянуто можливості й перспективи використання міжпредметних зв’язків під час вивчення навчальних дисциплін «Латинська мова» й «Українська мова за професійним спрямуванням». Зазначено важливу роль міждисциплінарного підходу як однієї з підвалин комплексної освітньої парадигми. Акцентовано увагу на необхідності формування та розвитку фахової мовної компетентності як основи цілісної, фундаментальної підготовки фахівців у будь- якій галузі, зокрема й медичній. Рівень володіння фаховою мовою визначає ефективність засвоєння профільних дисциплін, сформованість необхідного наукового світогляду, здатність до успішної професійної комунікації, перспективи фахового зростання, а отже, і конкурентоспроможності. У зв’язку з цим актуальним є питання вдосконалення методів і форм мовної підготовки. Зазначено, що визначення, узгодження та практичне закріплення асоціативних мовних зв’язків сприяє усвідомленню цілісності й внутрішньої логіки фахової мовної системи, розумінню взаємопов’язаності її елементів, створює умови для активнішого запам’ятовування й подальшого оперування засвоєним матеріалом. Водночас наголошено на необхідності застосування вже набутих загальномовних знань і навичок у роботі з новим мовним шаром фахової лексики. За результатами спостережень і бесід зі студентами проаналізовано труднощі й проблеми у вивченні латинської та української мов, з’ясовано їх причини. Подано характеристику міжпредметних зв’язків латинської й української мов, підкреслено їх єдність як складників фахової мови. Як приклад використання міжпредметних зв’язків розглянуто вивчення теми «Неузгоджене означення» (латинська мова) і «Відмінювання іменників чоловічого роду» (українська мова), запропоновано систематизацію термінологічних груп за цією морфологічною ознакою. Окреслено перспективні шляхи використання міжпредметних зв’язків латинської та української мов. | uk-UA |
