IMPLEMENTATION OF PHARMACOTHERAPY INNOVATIONS IN THE STUDY OF PHARMACOLOGY

dc.descriptionAbstract. Pharmacology is closely related to all disciplines of the medical university without exception, because it is the basis for the development of the basic system of skills and abilities necessary for understanding the basics of rational pharmacotherapy, laying the foundation for further mastering clinical subjects. Due to the mordern conditions, pharmacology develops rapidly, which requires all stakeholders of medical education to «keep abreast» of the most relevant innovations in the healthcare system. Therefore, when making changes to treatment protocols or legislative acts, the teachers of the Department of Pharmacology with Clinical Pharmacology adapt all educational and methodological materials to new requirements. This article is devoted to the analysis of current innovations that have been introduced into educational and methodological materials for higher education students studying at the Department of Pharmacology with Clinical Pharmacology. Studying at this department, a student first becomes familiar with the rules for prescribing medicines in prescriptions, therefore, it was critically necessary to include information in educational materials about electronic prescriptions, which were introduced into the healthcare system in 2022. Other relevant innovations concerned the treatment of diabetes mellitus (DM) and tuberculosis, which pose a significant threat to public health in Ukraine and the world. The treatment of DM and tuberculosis is covered by the Medical Guarantee Programs and is free of charge, so any updates to treatment protocols should be clearly reflected in educational materials. Teaching pharmacology, taking into account new guidelines, allows the students to master the most modern approaches to the treatment of these pathologies, which is especially important in the context of their rapid progression and the development of complications. Therefore, regular implementation of changes in treatment protocols in the educational materials of the Department of Pharmacology with Clinical Pharmacology will allow to expand students' understanding of the possibilities of these diseases pharmacotherapy and will lay the foundation for successful training in clinical departments.en-US

Фармакологія тісно пов’язана з усіма без винятку дисциплінами медичного університету, адже вона є основою розвитку базової системи вмінь та навичок, необхідних для розуміння основ раціональної фармакотерапії, закладаючи підґрунтя для подальшого опанування клінічних предметів. Ураховуючи умови сьогодення, фармакологія стрімко розвивається, що вимагає від усіх стейкхолдерів медичної освіти «тримати руку на пульсі» щодо найактуальніших нововведень у системі охорони здоров’я. Тому під час внесення змін до протоколів лікування чи законодавчих актів викладачами кафедри фармакології з клінічною фармакологією здійснюється адаптація усіх навчально-методичних матеріалів до нових вимог. Дану статтю присвячено аналізу актуальних нововведень, які були внесені у навчально-методичні матеріали для здобувачів вищої освіти, які навчаються на кафедрі фармакології з клінічною фармакологією. Ураховуючи те, що на цій кафедрі студент уперше знайомиться з правилами виписування лікарських засобів у рецептах, внесення інформації у навчальні матеріали щодо електронних рецептів, які були впроваджені у систему охорони здоров’я у 2022 р., було критично необхідним. Інші актуальні нововведення стосувалися лікування цукрового діабету (ЦД) і туберкульозу, які становлять значну загрозу для громадського здоров’я України та світу. Лікування ЦД і туберкульозу покривається програмами медичних гарантій і є безоплатним, тому будь-які оновлення у протоколах лікування мають чітко відображатися у навчальних матеріалах. Викладання фармакології з урахуванням нових настанов дає змогу здобувачам вищої освіти опанувати найсучасніші підходи до лікування цих патологій, що особливо важливо в умовах їх швидкого прогресування та розвитку ускладнень. Отже, регулярне впровадження змін у протоколах лікування у навчальні матеріали кафедри фармакології з клінічною фармакологією дасть змогу розширити розуміння студентів щодо можливостей фармакотерапії цього захворювання та закладе основу для успішного навчання на клінічних кафедрах.uk-UA
