| dc.description | Abstract. The development of education in the medical field has certain features and sets appropriate priorities for students. The need to meet modern world standards of educational programs and at the same time include a practical component is the main task of medical education in Ukraine. In order to form the professional competencies of future doctors for sixth-year students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Foreign Students of the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, an elective discipline «Ambulatory surgery» has been developed. The article reflects the teaching of this discipline, the purpose of which is high-quality training of students and their preparation for real challenges that arise in the modern medical field, highlights the purpose of teaching this academic discipline, the peculiarities of the methodology for organizing practical classes, the system for assessing the level of students' knowledge. The criteria that make this course important in the professional development of future doctors and their professional competencies are also formulated. The article highlights the key elements of successful teaching, in particular, involving students in practical work in relevant clinical situations on the basis of the surgical department, practicing and consolidating the acquired knowledge in the center of simulation training, conducting discussions and analysis of relevant clinical cases, actively involving students in innovative methods of diagnostics and training, in particular telemedicine. Emphasis is placed on a practically oriented approach in the professional training of students. The knowledge and skills obtained by students during the study of the elective discipline outpatient surgery contribute to the formation of basic professional competencies, involve students in a balanced choice of medical specialty, develop clinical thinking and open horizons for scientific research in this field of medicine. | en-US |
| dc.description | Анотація. Розвиток освіти в медичній галузі має певні особливості і виставляє відповідні пріоритети перед студентами. Необхідність відповідати сучасним світовим стандартам освітніх програм і водночас включати практичний складник є основним завданням медичної освіти в Україні. Для того щоб сформувати фахові компетентності майбутніх лікарів для студенів шостого курсу медичного факультету та факультету іноземних студентів Тернопільського національного медичного університету імені І.Я. Горбачевського, розроблено вибіркову дисципліну «Амбулаторна хірургія». У статті відображено викладання цієї дисципліни, метою якого є високоякісне навчання студентів і підготовка їх до реальних викликів, що виникають у сучасній медичній галузі, висвітлено мету викладання даної навчальної дисципліни, особливості методики організації практичних занять, систему оцінювання рівня знань студентів. Сформульовано критерії, що роблять даний курс важливим у професійному становленні майбутніх лікарів та їхніх фахових компетентностей. Висвітлено ключові елементи успішного викладання, зокрема залучення студентів до практичної роботи у відповідних клінічних ситуаціях на базі хірургічного відділення, відпрацювання та закріплення отриманих знань у центрі симуляційного навчання, проведення дискусії та аналізу щодо відповідних клінічних кейсів, активно проведено залучення студентів до інноваційних методів діагностики та навчання, зокрема телемедицини. Зроблено акцент на практично орієнтованому підході у фаховій підготовці студентів. Знання та навички, отримані студентами під час вивчення вибіркової дисципліни «Амбулаторна хірургія», сприяють формуванню основних професійних компетентностей, залучають студентів до виваженого вибору лікарської спеціальності, розвивають клінічне мислення і відкривають горизонти для наукових досліджень у даній галузі медицини. | uk-UA |
