SCREENING AND PREVENTION OF RECTAL CANCER IN RISK GROUPS
Abstract
Develop a unified screening system aimed at improving the results of early diagnosis of rectal cancer. To study the risk factors for rectal cancer. Assess significant factors and assess their role in the likelihood of detecting rectal cancer. To evaluate the effectiveness of the balloon system in the selection of patients with an increased probability of developing rectal cancer based on a retrospective analysis of the studied patients who were subjected to colonoscopy.
For the first time, based on an epidemiological study, factors for the likely development of rectal cancer have been identified. Based on multifactorial analysis, a method has been developed for the formation of groups of patients with a high probability of identifying this disease to unify the rectal cancer screening system. The effectiveness of the rectal cancer screening system is shown when combining the method of selecting cases of probable detection of the disease with endoscopic diagnosis.
Practical significance of the work. A method developed on the basis of multifactor analysis for the formation of groups of patients with high probabilities of developing rectal cancer helps to improve the early diagnosis of this disease. The simplicity of the developed methodology and the absence of significant material costs allows doctors of the general treatment network to specifically navigate the implementation of screening programs for early diagnosis of rectal cancer, and reduces the path for patients to in depth, highly informative examination methods
