| dc.description | Purpose – to identify the most significant indicators of dental health and identify behavioral risk factors in school age children using European indicators.Materials and methods. Dental examination of 12 and 15 years old children and anonymous questioning of 15-year-olds were conducted. We registered DMF index of permanent teeth, of Greene-Vermillion oral hygiene index (OHІ-S) and bleeding of gums.Results. The tested indicators are very informative and specific. The high prevalence and the medium intensity of dental caries in children of both age groups and their relationship with behavioral risk factors were revealed.Conclusions. European indicators of oral health can be used to monitor the effectiveness of programs of primary prevention of dental caries among children. | en-US |
| dc.description | Мета – визначення найбільш значущих показників стоматологічного здоров’я та виявлення поведінкових факторів ризику у дітей шкільного віку за допомогою Європейських індикаторів.Матеріали і методи. Проведено стоматологічні огляди дітей віком 12 і 15 років та анонімне анкетування 15-річних дітей. При огляді дітей реєстрували КПВ постійних зубів, індекс гігієни порожнини рота Гріна–Вермільйона (ОНІ-S) і кровоточивість ясен.Результати. Виявлено високу інформативність та специфічність досліджуваних індикаторів. Встановлено високу поширеність та середній рівень інтенсивності карієсу зубів у дітей обох вікових груп та їх взаємозв'язки з поведінковими чинниками ризику.Висновки. Європейські індикатори стоматологічного здоров'я можуть бути використані для моніторингу ефективності програм первинної профілактики карієсу зубів серед дитячого населення. | uk-UA |
