| dc.description | Review literature from 1990 to 2012 years was performed. It was described disadvantages and side effects of antiseptics and antibiotics in tradition treatment of the parodontiul diseases. It was considered the alternative non-drug methods of antimicrobial treatment – ozone therapy and photo-dynamic therapy, their principle of action, the biological effects, indication and contraindication of these methods in dentistry and in particular in the parodontics was described. It was shown advantages of these methods in the treatment of parodontium diseases. | en-US |

Розглянуто альтернативні немедикаментозні методи протимікробного лікування ‒ озонотерапію та фотодинамотерапію, описано їх принцип дії, біологічні ефекти, показання та протипоказання до використання, методики застосування у стоматології, і, зокрема, у пародонтології.
