| dc.description | The aim of the research – to analyze a clinical case of shigellosis, complicated by encephalomyelitis in a 6-year-old child. Description of a clinical case of shigellosis, complicated by encephalomyelitis, in a 6-year-old child has been presented. Neurological disorders manifested by left-sided hemiparesis and dysfunctions of the pelvic organs appeared on the third day of the disease. On bacteriological analysis of excretions, S. sonnei culture was isolated. Conclusion. The clinical case illustrates difficulties in differential diagnosis of shigellosis and infectious diseases, in which clinical manifestations of damage to the nervous system are common components of pathological process. | en-US |
| dc.description | Мета роботи – проаналізувати клінічний випадок шигельозу, ускладненого енцефаломієлітом у дитини віком 6 років. Наведено опис клінічного випадку шигельозу, ускладненого енцефаломієлітом. Неврологічні порушення у вигляді лівобічного геміпарезу, дисфункції органів малого тазу виникли на 3-ю добу хвороби. При бактеріологічному дослідженні випорожнень виділено культуру S. sonnei. Висновок. Наведений клінічний випадок ілюструє труднощі диференційної діагностики шигельозу з інфекційними хворобами, при яких клінічні прояви ураження нервової системи є закономірною складовою патологічного процесу. | uk-UA |
