dc.descriptionDescribed is the case of chronic human diphyllobothriosis, which, despite the characteristic clinical picture and advanced laboratory and instrumental examination, remained unidentified until the time of sighting examination for the purpose of detecting helminth eggs in feces. Effective ethiotropic treatment provided complete deworming, however, due to the development of an irreversible demyelinating complication, the prognosis for a complete recovery remained unfavorable.en-US
dc.descriptionОписано випадок задавненого дифілоботріозу людини, який, незважаючи на характерну клінічну картину й поглиблене лабораторне та інструментальне обстеження, залишався нерозпізнаним до моменту прицільного дообстеження на предмет виявлення яєць гельмінта у випорожненнях. Ефективне етіотропне лікування забезпечило цілковиту дегельмінтизацію, однак через розвиток незворотного демієлінізуючого ускладнення прогноз стосовно повного одужання залишився несприятливим.uk-UA
