IMPLEMENATION OF THE SIMULATIVE TRAINING IN THE OBJECTIVE STRUCTURED CLINICAL EXAMINATION FOR STUDENTS OF MEDICAL FACULTY AT THE DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY

dc.descriptionThe article adduces the results of implementing the Objective Structured Clinical Examination for the assessment of knowledge and practical skills in obstetrics and gynecology in the 5th year students of medical faculty. The issue of qualitative training for future doctors is an actual problem today. The state program of reforming the medical sector requires educational medical institutions to train specialists not only with a high level of theoretical knowledge, but also with the ability to use them in practice. In this regard, there is a deviation of the priorities of the educational process from the acquisition of knowledge to the formation of professional competences. Simulation education is one of the main methods of practical training of medical specia­lists. Practicing skills on dummies and simulators has proven effectiveness. The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is one of the reliable elements of evaluating the practical and communication skills of future physicians. The basic principles of this exam are: objectivity and structure. Objectivity is determined by standardized assessment scales, and the structure of the OSCE is a standardized scheme of passage of stations, which allows to evaluate certain clinical thinking and skills.  Thus, this implementation of simulation training is a valuable tool for improving the professional competencies of future physicians. Without the use of theoretical knowledge and analytical skills, it is impossible to properly perform a practical task, interpret the results of the survey, make a diagnosis. During the OSCE, teachers adhere to established rules and standards, which allows a fair assessment of the student in the course.en-US
dc.descriptionУ статті проаналізовано результати запровадження об’єктивного структурованого клінічного іспиту для оцінки знань і практичних навичок з акушерства та гінекології у студентів V курсу медичного факультету. Питання якісної підготовки майбутніх лікарів становить актуальну проблему сьогодення. Державна програма реформування медичної галузі вимагає від освітніх медичних закладів підготовки фахівців не лише з високим рівнем теоретичних знань, але й з умінням використовувати їх на практиці. У зв’язку з цим відмічається відхилення пріоритетів освітнього процесу від здобування знань до формування професійних компетенцій. Симуляційна освіта є однією з основних методик практичної підготовки медичних спеціалістів. Відпрацювання навичок на манекенах та симуляторах має доведену ефективність. Саме об’єктивний структурований клінічний іспит (ОСКІ) є одним з достовірних елементів оцінки практичних та комунікативних навичок майбутніх лікарів. Основними принципами даного іспиту є об’єктивність та структурованість. Об’єктивність визначається стандартизованими шкалами оцінювання, а структурованість ОСКІ полягає у стандартизованій схемі проходження станцій, що дозволяє оцінити визначене клінічне мислення та вміння студентів. Таким чином, дана імплементація симуляційного навчання є цінним інструментом вдосконалення професійних компетентностей у майбутніх лікарів. Без застосування теоретичних знань та аналітичних навичок неможливо правильно виконати практичне завдання, інтерпретувати результати обстеження, встановити діагноз. На ОСКІ викладачі дотримуються встановлених правил і стандартів, що дозволяє справедливо оцінювати студента під час виконання завдання.uk-UA
