SPECIFICS OF TRAINING TEACHING STAFF FOR THE EDUCATION OF NURSES IN AUSTRIA

| dc.description | The aim of the work – to consider the Austrian experience of training teaching staff for the education of nurses. The main body. Since 2003, a university programme of training teachers in nursing has been launched in Austria. It comprises 5 semesters of in-service training, Master of Science degree awarded. Introduction of the programme has been stipulated by increased responsibilities of nurses, as well as by the increased level of complexity of their today’s work, and correspondingly, greater demands to the quality of their training. The content of professional training of Austrian teachers in nursing is characterized by interdisciplinary nature of education, significant amount of practical training, orientation towards competence approach alongside with the development of effective mechanisms for its introduction, as well as by the development of research skills. The objective of the course is educational activity, providing formation of professional and pedagogical competence of the nursing teacher for effective performance in the conditions of increased demands to the professional training of the nurse, eager for professional growth and capable of self-education and self-improvement. The teachers of nursing are supposed: to possess knowledge about principles and regularities of educational process and to be able to use it in the professional activity; to be aware of forms and methods of scientific thinking; to be familiar with the latest methods of search, processing and use of information; to become proficient in organizational skills, necessary for developing one’s creative abilities and further training; to know legislation, legal and ethical rules which regulate human relations, and to be aware with the issues of health care, education, etc. Conclusion. Study and creative use of Austrian nurses’ training alongside with preservation of valuable groundwork of our national education will provide the opportunity for the Ukrainian nursing education to successfully join the European educational space. | en-US |
| dc.description | Мета роботи – висвітлення австрійського досвіду професійної підготовки педагогічного персоналу для медсестринської освіти. Основна частина. З 2003 року в Австрії відкрита університетська програма підготовки викладачів з медсестринства, розрахована на 5 семестрів навчання без відриву від професійної діяльності з отриманням після закінчення ступеня магістра наук. Запровадження університетської магістерської програми підготовки викладачів з медсестринства зумовлене розширенням кола функціональних обов’язків медичних сестер, підвищенням рівня складності їх професійної діяльності в сучасних умовах і, відповідно, підвищенням вимог до якості їх підготовки. Зміст професійної підготовки австрійських викладачів медсестринства характеризується міждисциплінарним характером освіти, значним обсягом практичного навчання, орієнтацією на компетентнісний підхід та розробкою ефективних механізмів його впровадження, розвитком дослідницьких умінь. Метою курсу є освітня діяльність, що забезпечує формування фахової і педагогічної компетенцій викладача медсестринства для здійснення науково-педагогічної діяльності в умовах підвищених вимог до професійної підготовки медичної сестри, готового до професійного росту, здатного до самоосвіти та самовдосконалення. До підготовки викладачів медсестринства висуваються такі вимоги: володіння системою знань про принципи та закономірності освітнього процесу і вміння використовувати їх у своїй професійній діяльності; знання форм і методів наукового пізнання; володіння сучасними методами пошуку, обробки і використання інформації; опанування організаційних навичок і вмінь, необхідних для розвитку своїх творчих здібностей і підвищення кваліфікації; знання законодавчої бази, правових та етичних норм, які регулюють людські стосунки, питання охорони здоров’я й освіти тощо. Висновок. Вивчення і творче використання досвіду підготовки австрійських медичних сестер з одночасним збереженням цінних напрацювань вітчизняної освіти дозволить вітчизняній медсестринській освіті успішно влитись до європейського освітнього простору. | uk-UA |
