| dc.description | The aim of the study – to improve the organization of the educational process for foreign undergraduates of the specialty “Nursing” by developing new methods of objective education and testing that would provide significant progress towards a professionally-oriented clinical evaluation at all levels and stages of clinical training and practice.The main body. In this article we assessed the existing teaching methods that are used for foreign students in medical educational institutions of accreditation levels III–IV, in specialty “Nursing”, of the master’s level of higher education. The basic pedagogical methods of practical skills mastering by nurses that are on their master program were singled out. We also determined the expediency of using the assessment of clinical competency with the help of standardized patients.There are many variations in the organization of clinical examinations through standardized patients, such as combining simulated and real patients (which can increase the validity of the entire exam) and even simulators, the exam can consist of a different number (from 7 to 40) stations (a station is a place of where test taker interacts with a specific standardized patient), the duration of the station can vary from 4 to 25 minutes, different forms of control are used (checklists, rating scales, as well as video recording.Conclusion. The standardized patient method is an effective and qualitative method for assessing clinical competence. It has better psychometric properties than traditional means of evaluating students at the patient’s bedside. | en-US |
| dc.description | Мета роботи – вдосконалення організації навчального процесу для студентів-магістрантів спеціальності «Медсестринство» з числа іноземних громадян шляхом розробки нових методів об’єктивного навчання і тестування, які б забезпечили значний прогрес у бік професійно-орієнтованого клінічного оцінювання на всіх рівнях та етапах навчання і практики.Основна частина. У статті здійснено оцінку існуючих методів викладання іноземним студентам медичних навчальних закладів III – IV рівнів акредитації за спеціальністю «Медсестринство», магістерського рівня вищої освіти. Виокремлено основні педагогічні прийоми засвоєння практичних навичок магістрантами-медичними сестрами. Визначено доцільність застосування оцінки клінічної компетентності за допомогою стандартизованих пацієнтів.Існує багато варіацій в організації іспитів із клінічної компетентності за допомогою стандартизованих пацієнтів, наприклад поєднання в одному іспиті симульованих та реальних хворих (що може підвищити достовірність усього іспиту) і навіть симуляторів, іспит може складатись з різної кількості (7 - 40) станцій (станція - це місце роботи екзаменованого з конкретним стандартизованим пацієнтом), тривалість станції може коливатись від 4 до 25 хвилин, використовуються різні форми контролю (контрольні таблиці (checklists), рейтингові шкали (rating scales), відеозапис.Висновок. Метод стандартизованих пацієнтів є ефективним та якісним методом оцінювання клінічної компетентності. Він має кращі психометричні властивості, ніж традиційні засоби оцінювання студентів біля ліжка хворого. | uk-UA |
