AVERAGE LIFE EXPECTANCY AS CRITERION OF MEDICAL AND DEMOGRAPHIC SITUATION IN UKRAINE

| dc.description | Purpose: Revealing of development criteria and changes tendencies of average life expectancy for five years (2008-2012).Materials and methods. The survey is lead on the basis of the State Statistics Service of mortality and average life expectancy by gender, type of settlement, region for 2008-2012. Demographic and statistical methods were applied.Results. In 2008-2012 years there was a growth of average life expectancy both at men and at women, both in city and in countryside – for 3.83 years at men and 2.09 years at women. The increase in average life expectancy has mainly been connected to positive dynamics of mortality from cardiovascular diseases and external causes.Conclusions. Significant territorial distinctions in average life expectancy are inherent in Ukraine. The best parameters are observed in the western regions, the worse – in the east, the difference reaches three years at men and two at women.Key words: mortality, average life expectancy, gender, type of settlement, region. | en-US |
| dc.description | Мета: виявлення критеріїв формування та тенденцій змін середньої очікуваної тривалості життя за п’ять років (2008–2012 рр.).Матеріали і методи. Дослідження проведене на підставі даних Державної служби статистики про смертність і середню очікувану тривалість життя за статтю, типом поселення, регіоном, за 2008–2012 рр. Застосовувалися демографічні та статистичні методи.Результати. У 2008–2012 рр. відбулося зростання середньої очікуваної тривалості життя, як у чоловіків, так і у жінок, як у місті, так і на селі, – на 3,83 року у чоловіків та 2,09 року у жінок. Збільшення середньої очікуваної тривалості життя переважно було пов’язане з позитивною динамікою смертності від хвороб системи кровообігу та від зовнішніх причин.Висновки. Україні притаманні значні територіальні відмінності у показниках середньої очікуваної тривалості життя. Найкращі показники спостерігаються у західних областях, найгірші – у східних, різниця досягає трьох років у чоловіків та двох у жінок.КЛЮЧОВІ СЛОВА: смертність, середня очікувана тривалість життя, стать, тип поселення, регіон. | uk-UA |
