Короткий опис(реферат)
Contemporary scientific research into the nursing process in surgery and the specifics of patient management in surgical departments is highly relevant as it contributes to the improvement of patient care and treatment outcomes. This study elucidates the understanding of the nursing process, which allows healthcare professionals to provide individualized and comprehensive care throughout the entire surgical process, ensuring the safety and well-being of the patient. The aim of the study was to investigate the peculiarities of the nursing process in surgery, in particular, to explore the main aspects of nursing care and patient management in the postoperative period for various types of surgeries, to determine the frequency of complications, and to analyze treatment outcomes in the postoperative period. Using a retrospective comparative study, which included data from existing medical records and a comparison of the frequency of complications and treatment outcomes in the postoperative period, the results of 196 patients (107 men and 89 women) aged 18 to 75 years were analyzed. The analysis of the number and percentage of patients who developed complications showed that in the immediate postoperative period, 16.3% of patients developed an infection, 10.2% experienced bleeding, respiratory complications occurred in 6.1%, and deep vein thrombosis occurred in 4.1% of patients. For the later postoperative period, the occurrence of infection was 8.2%, bleeding was 6.1%, respiratory complications were 4.1%, and deep vein thrombosis was 2.0% of patients. This study underscores the importance of integrating the nursing process into surgical care, highlighting its key role in achieving positive patient experiences, increasing patient satisfaction, and ensuring the overall well-being of surgical patients.
