Patients with limitations face numerous barriers in accessing health services, which include staffing shortages, outdated infrastructure, and limited health system resources. These factors lead to delays in providing care, low patient involvement in the decision-making process, and insufficient psychological support. Solving these problems requires a thorough analysis of patients’ expectations, identification of key problem areas, and the development of comprehensive approaches to address them. The study views the issue of preparing nurses to provide care for patients with disabilities. Special focus was on the need to develop and implement educational programs aimed at forging the professional competencies of nurses in the care of this patient population. The purpose of the study was to improve the quality of nursing care for patients with disabilities through the implementation of specialized educational programs. The purpose of the study was to investigate and perform a system analysis of the role of nursing process in care for patients with disabilities, and identification and analysis of the gap between the expected and actual quality of care for patients with disabilities, and developing recommendations to improve patient satisfaction and the quality of health care services provided. Research objectives. 1. To examine the specifics of care for individuals with disabilities and their needs. 2. To investigate the implementation of programs to train nurses in work with patients with disabilities. 3. Perform a comparative analysis of the results before and after the training of nurses. 4. To investigate the factors that influence patient satisfaction with the quality of care they receive. 5. To evaluate the professional skills of nurses in the field of care of patients with disabilities. Object of the study. Object of the study includes nurses providing care to patients with disabilities and patients with disabilities requiring specialized nursing care. Subject of the study. Subject of the study includes the process of implementation and performance evaluation of nursing education programs aimed at developing professional competencies and improving the quality of care for patients with disabilities. Study methods: Analysis of literature sources is a study of current scientific publications, regulatory framework and international experience in the field of training nurses to work with patients with disabilities. Questionnaires and surveys are used to determine the levels of training and needs of nurses working with this patient population. Experimental testing is the development and implementation of an educational program aimed at developing specific skills and competences in nurses. Methods of statistical analysis include processing and interpretation of data obtained in the course of the study, including performance evaluation of the implemented programs. Scientific and practical significance of the study. The study has a significant scientific and practical value. The developed nursing education programs centered on patients with disabilities can be introduced into the health education system. This helps improve the quality of nursing care, improve interaction between patients and health care workers, and reduce professional burnout in nurses. The results indicate that the implementation of specialized educational programs contributes to improved nurse-patient interactions, reduced nurse burnout, and higher quality of nursing care. The scientific and practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of integrating the developed programs into the system of additional professional education for nurses, which will improve the medical and social support of patients with disabilities and increase their quality of life.uk
