dc.description.abstract | The number of people suffering from pathology of the cardiovascular system is steadily increasing, in connection with this, the number of hospitalizations associated with the development of heart failure in hospitals is increasing. Heart failure is a condition caused by a sudden or long-term weakening of the ability of the myocardium to contract, which is accompanied by congestion in the circulatory system. Pathology of both acute and chronic course is not an independent disease, but develops as a complication of other diseases. In some diseases, the condition worsens gradually and lasts for years; in other cases, several days are enough for the development of serious consequences. Heart failure is a condition that is a consequence of various cardiovascular pathologies, among the main causes are myocardial infarction and ischemic disease, heart defects, cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, hypertension, etc. In older people, the disease can be triggered by diabetes mellitus. Patients with Graves' disease are also at risk. This paper searches for a correlation between cardiovascular diseases and congestive heart failure. Specifically, how patients can have certain cardiovascular diseases and over time develop congestive heart failure due to or partially due to the current cardiovascular diseases that the patient has. This paper looks at clinical research and a case study performed in order to find a correlation between cardiovascular diseases and congestive heart failure. Congestive heart failure being a disease that’s prevalent and deadly, requires quick diagnosis of the disease and treatment in order to prevent terrible and irreversible outcomes. By finding this link to certain cardiovascular diseases and congestive heart failure, nurses can be more aware of theses diseases and the risk of the development of congestive heart failure. By understanding this correlation nurses can help spot congestive heart failure earlier and help make preventative or precautionary measures for the disease. Helping provide earlier diagnosis and treatment for congestive heart failure which will improve quality and quantity of patient life. Scientific significance of the study: When studying the nursing process when working with patients of the cardiology department, nursing management was studied in chronic heart failure, the developmental features and classification of chronic heart failure were studied, the prevailing clinical situations of systolic and diastolic heart failure were determined, as well as the prevailing clinical situations in left-sided and right-sided heart failure, the diseases that most often lead to the development of chronic heart failure have been identified, modern principles and approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure have been studied, and the frequency of diseases affecting the occurrence of heart failure has been studied. Practical significance of the study: Determining the correlation between cardiovascular diseases and congestive heart failure creates an awareness in nurses to be able to spot the onset or formation of the disease. This gives nurses tools to be able to look out for congestive heart failure and start performing precautionary diagnostic tests for the patient. Making a quicker diagnosis of the congestive heart failure and creating faster treatment plans creates less lost time and improvement in patient quality and quantity of | uk |
