Laser cosmetology is a rapidly developing branch of dermatology, and nurses are providing care to these patients increasingly more often. Owing to modern laser equipment, it has become possible to address problems such as unwanted hair, pigmentation, blood vessels, scars, wrinkles, etc. Lasers are also used to treat acne, depigmentation, psoriasis and many other abnormal skin conditions. Among the advantages of using lasers in dermatology and cosmetology, the selectivity of the effect should be emphasize emphasized; low invasiveness; rapid results; lasting results; and safety, since lasers can be very narrowly targeted and their spectrum does not include ultraviolet and x-rays, which is why they do not cause any mutagenic or otherwise harmful effect on the skin and internal organs. Laser cosmetology, however, should not be overestimated. There are many skin problems for which laser treatment is not the best choice. For example, volumetric facial changes such as deep wrinkles, furrows, and atrophy of the fat layer are corrected with fillers (contour plastic and volumetric modeling). Each patient needs an individual approach; the required procedures should be prescribed by a physician, and a well-trained nurse may conduct preparation to laser therapy of the skin, perform procedures, monitor skin status after the procedures, and provide the relevant skin care recommendations. The aim of the study. To study the specific aspects of nursing work in modern dermatology and cosmetology and to determine the modern nursing practices in using lasers in modern dermatology and cosmetology as an effective skin treatment. Study objectives. 1. To study the role of a nurse in dermatology and cosmetology. 2. To review the options for the use of laser therapy in dermatology in vascular skin lesions. 3. To study the specific aspects of design and use of medical lasers in nursing practice, and to explore their benefits and hazards. 4. To study the types and certain technical specifics of lasers when used in nursing practice, the advantages of using certain laser types depending on the skin impairment and hazard prevention in the use of medical lasers. 5. To review the classification of lasers and safety rules when working with lasers of different classes. 6. To study the special aspects of the use of lasers as an effective method of hair removal. 7. To study the health effects of laser hair removal, and the advantages and disadvantages of using laser epilation. The object of research. Dermatological patients in whom lasers have been used for improvement of certain types of skin disorders. The subject of research. The special aspects of work, knowledge and professional skills of the nurse when working with dermatological patients in whom lasers were used for improvement of certain types of skin disorders. The methods of study: survey, inspection of integumentary tissues and mucous membranes, monitoring of dermatological patients, review of medical records; special diagnostic methods for skin diseases; the statistical method. The scientific and practical value of the study. This research project has studied the role of a nurse in dermatology and cosmetology, and the options for the use of laser therapy in dermatology for vascular skin lesions; reviewed the specific aspects of design and use of medical lasers in nursing practice, studied their benefits and hazards; studied the types and certain technical specifics of lasers when used in nursing practice, and the advantages of using certain laser types depending on the skin impairment and hazard prevention in the use of medical lasers; reviewed the classification of lasers and safety rules when working with lasers of different classes; studied the special aspects in the use of lasers as an effective method of hair removal, and also studied the health effects of laser hair removal, and the advantages and disadvantages of using laser epilation.uk
